Admissions Process
1)

After reviewing our website, call our office at 330.788.4622 to schedule an observation appointment for you to visit our school and observe Montessori in action.

2)

Complete the admissions application. You may download the application here (click here for the admission application), or request a hard copy from our office. (if you need Acrobat Reader, click here for a free download)

3)

Once the application is returned with the application fee, a meeting between a staff member and the child is scheduled to determine if Montessori can meet his/her needs. While the child is meeting with the staff member, the parent(s) meet(s) with the Administrator.

4)

Following the interview and consultation, a letter of acceptance or denial will be sent to your home. If accepted, an enrollment contract will accompany the letter.

5)

Upon receipt of the signed contract and advance tuition payment, enrollment is complete.

Nondiscriminatory Policy
The Montessori School of the Mahoning Valley, Inc. recruits and admits students of any race, color, gender, or ethnic origin to all its rights, privileges, programs, and activities. Parental Commitment
The Montessori School of the Mahoning Valley, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, is a parent cooperative. As a cooperative member, you will be asked to donate 20 hours of time per calendar year (required to participate in volunteering and fundraising opportunities in lieu of membership fees.)
